About the Team
Lauren Chooljian is a senior reporter/producer for New Hampshire Public Radio’s Document team, the station’s longform narrative podcast unit. She co-hosted the award-winning Stranglehold podcast, described by The New York Times as a “novelistic portrait of the relationship between the state’s residents and the [presidential] primary.” Her work has also been recognized by the Third Coast International Audio Festival.
Before joining NHPR in 2017, Lauren spent nearly six years as a reporter, producer and fill-in host for WBEZ in Chicago. She has appeared on NPR, CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC and in The Washington Post, among others. Lauren graduated with a degree in history from Saint Anselm College and has a graduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
